Dresses to Dream Of!

Spring has sprung! With the return of some much-needed sunshine comes the arrival of our dresses (and we couldn’t be happier)! From timeless styles to romantic looks and floral prints, this season’s dresses have it all. We want to wear them for any and every occasion: at the office, on weekends, for date night or for a cocktail party. Make room in your wardrobe for these new, feminine styles! Discover how to accessorize them (for your most stylish spring yet)!

9 to 5

Welcome the radiant days of spring with a ruffled dress (that’s feminine and so comfortable). Its navy blue print goes perfectly with matching high heels. Our elastic waist style is a must for a the office! To structure your silhouette, add a thin belt where the elastic is. If you opt for a dress that’s detailed on the top half (with pleats, for example), choose to accessorize with earrings rather than a necklace to create a balanced look.

We can’t forget about a classic: the little black dress. It’s simply timeless. Perfect for day and night, it’s undoubtedly the most versatile dress you’ll own! Pair it perfectly with a blazer for the office. For 5 to 7 drinks, wear it with a lilac motorcycle jacket over top (a trending hue this spring). For the finishing touch, wear a watch and rose gold jewellery, or a larger necklace that will add to your look. Opt for a pastel pink handbag to add a touch of color to an otherwise neutral outfit. For crisp, cool mornings, add a floral print scarf to keep up with the trends of the moment (and to stay warm)!

Weekend

Floral prints are so popular this season and there’s no shortage of options to pick from! For a brunch with friends or a Friday night out, enhance your look with an exploson of florals. On our fashon radar: a stand-out floral print dress with balloon sleeves. Oozing with femininity, this style will put your legs in the spotlight. Don’t forget! Flat mules are everywhere this spring, so give them a try. To avoid overloading your look, go for delicate accessories: pearl earrings and some rings.

A long, floral print dress and bare shoulders will boost your fashion credibility. It’s the perfect dress for walks in city on Saturday afternoons and its front slit offers plenty of movement. For a more put-together look, pair it with your favourite high heels. Don’t forget the sunglasses!

Our love of florals doesn’t stop there! Take the trend to your handbag with a floral-print glasses case.

For your events

This season, focus on elegance! Make a splash with a dress adorned with floral appliques that was inspired by the latest runway trends. Accessorise it subtlety with pretty dangle earrings featuring flower petals.

Do you have a birthday get-together coming up? A cocktail party? It’s the perfect occasion to add some sophistication and personality to your look. For that, there’s nothing like lace. For a more feminine silhouette, you can opt for a fit and flare dress that’s fitted to your waist and flares out towards the bottom. The delicate floral print lace on this style has it all. Choose to pair it with high heels featuring a lace-up detail that adds a touch of attitude or opt for a more classic style. To finish your look, choose simple dangle earrings.

Asymmetrical cuts are also trendy this season. Play with lengths in a flattering high-low dress. A style with bare shoulders reveals just enough to turn heads at your every event!

I haven’t worn ankle pants since the 60’s. I am so glad they are back in style. I have a problem with ulcerated legs so cannot wear capri pants, shorts or the cute shorter dresses that are in style for women who have nice legs. I would also like to see more maxi dresses that just hit the ankle but don’t gape at the bottom. It would also be great to see them made in lighter material which is cooler for the hot summer days. I have already ordered the maxi dress and am excited to see it…June
